1. What is an ultrasonic hardness tester?

In 1961, Dr. Claus Kleesattel (Claus Kleesattel) invented UCI. Ultrasonic Contact Impedance - Ultrasonic Contact Impedance method is used for rapid comparative measurement of the hardness of metal materials. 2. Ultrasonic Hardness Tester Principle

Ultrasonic contact impedance method is a non-direct measurement of the indentation of the dynamic indentation method. A specific indenter (e.g., a positive tetragonal diamond indenter) is mounted on the end of the indenter, and the vibrating rod of the indenter is stimulated to make longitudinal ultrasonic vibrations.
