1.Full inspection or large-scale sampling is required. The single measurement cycle of the ultrasonic hardness tester only takes 2 seconds, which is 15 times the measurement efficiency of the traditional desktop hardness tester and 50 times that of the Brinell and Vickers, which can greatly improve the measurement speed and efficiency.

2. The sample is relatively large and is not suitable for direct detection by a desktop hardness tester: Because the ultrasonic hardness tester is a portable hardness tester, it can solve the problem of on-site measurement of the hardness of large workpieces.

3. Do not want the tested sample to leave obvious test indentations:

Since the test force of Brinell and Rockwell hardness testers is relatively large, a large indentation will be left after the test. After the test, the product cannot be assembled and used or needs to be processed again, and the customer requires the manufacturer to perform hardness testing. The ultrasonic hardness tester uses a small load test force and uses a diamond Vickers indenter. The test indentation requires a microscope of 200X or more to be clearly distinguished. The indentation is not easy to be observed by the naked eye, thus solving the above problems.
