What is the VMM/OMM？ and what parameters can be measured by VMM/OMM?

Optical image video measuring system/Vision measuring machine is abbreviated as video system, vision machine, and somebody also call it as "2D image dimension measurement instrument" or "profile projector". It is a precision geometric dimension measurement instrument that integrates the advanced technology of optic, mechanic, electronic and computer, software algorithm. It not only can measure the linear size and geometric size of measured parts, but also can evaluate the geometric tolerance in light of ISO1101 or ASME Y14.5. What is more, it can output SPC, CPK, and other statistical data, which can be used to determine whether the products are qualified or not. It is applied to precisely control the size of the machined parts in the workshops and laboratories.
