remote measurements of variable topology system.
Systems developed through the Internet for remote measurement of circuits allow remote assembly of circuits.
Students are able to design circuits using circuit elements;
They can select components from a defined electrical component set and establish a connection between them.
Then is the ircuit proposal assembled using real electrical components.
Students can control the source voltage level and read the value on the measuring device.
The current state of the system can be used for education or for commercial purposes of circuit measurement.
Key words: remote measurement, variable topology, Circuit 1.
The academic field is strongly influenced by the innovation process and the results of specific research projects.
With regard to electronic and electrical engineering, we have been faced with the problems of less teaching means, limited time, lack of teaching staff or a very wide range.
We try to solve these problems in an effective way.
In particular, the main scope of our activities is the teaching process in the field of electrical and electronic measurement, and for research projects mainly aimed at providing a strong theoretical educational background, practical exercises, examples of image and/or signal processing, virtual instruments and simulations. Thestate-of-the-
The artistic tipping point appears mainly in laboratory and experimental courses: However, the number of students has increased, so the cost and complexity of instruments has also increased, and the budget for laboratory technicians and equipment has decreased.
This trend highlights the need for remote access to laboratories over the Internet.
However, only a handful of current applications allow users to access real instruments in order to perform measurements effectively.
In the concept we introduced in the paper, a remote student (Client)
There must be a compatible software environment running on a lab computer (Server).
Therefore, a specific product, a specific platform, and related costs are imposed on students.
In addition, some customers
The server application currently used in the field of distance learning does not allow many users to access the measurement application at the same time.
Teaching measurement methods requires a wealth of practical experience more than other topics to ensure a good knowledge transfer from teacher to student.
Students should gain such a high level of practical experience through recent workto-
Data conditions and instruments.
In fact, often, more complex and expensive measuring instruments make it harder to keep technical settingsto-date.
In addition, in order for all students to operate the measuring instruments themselves, it is necessary to repeat the same experiment many times.
This also adds to the shortage of technicians. (
Arpaia & Baccigalupi & Cennamo & Daponte, 2000).

VML remote measurement laboratory architecture (VML)
Slovdialene meracie laboratory\'s Slovak abbreviation is a special system developed by the department of theoretical electrical engineering and electrical testing, School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, kostce Technical University, Slovakia.
The entire VML system consists of three main parts: client, server and device table.
The following figure describes the architecture of VMLis1. [
Figure 1 slightly]
The equipment table consists of electrical components. g.
Resistance, coil, capacitor, measuring deviceg.
Voltmeter, ammeter, meter and power supply.
All components and devices are connected to a specially developed device controlled by the server.
The client can use the client program to connect to the server from anywhere in the world and have access to the Internet.
The client creates the circuit virtual.
The client then sends the circuit scheme to the server.
The server sets the device table according to the circuit scheme through LPT and creates the real circuit.
The measurement data of all measurement devices is stored on the server via USB and sent to the client.
Users can also set voltage values on manageable power supplies. (
Kovae & Vince & Monar, 2010)3.
VML feature description when a client starts working in VLM, he/she connects to the server and asks the server about the available devices.
The server sends the client a set of devices connected to the device table.
The server database may contain many devices that may be connected to a device that is connectable.
However, not all available devices are connected at once.
The server and device parts table is shown in figure 2. [
After receiving a set of devices, the client can start creating a circuit scheme.
Users can only create circuit schemes using devices in existing devices and assemble circuit schemes using devices and connecting elements.
Figure 1 shows the client part. 3. [
Figure 3 slightly]
After the client completes the virtual circuit, he/she tries to log in to the VML server.
To receive the set of connected devices available, authentication is not required.
However, certification is required to assemble real circuits.
At that time, only one client could connect to the server using authentication.
Customers have to wait if the server is busy.
After the authentication is successful, the client sends the virtual circuit scheme to the server.
The server is then sent to the VML device table according to the virtual scheme and the real circuit is assembled.
LPTport sends instructions.
The data of the measuring device is received and forwarded to the client via the USB/RS232 port.
The user can see the data from all the measuring devices used in the scheme (Fig. 3).
The user can also change the voltage of the power supply.
The VML system is able to read the stable state information in real time, not the signal shown on the oscilloscope.
VML is now configured for educational purposes and supports basic courses for measuring DC and AC circuits.
VML technology has a wide range of applications. g.
Remote access to top-level measuring devices, automatic measuring processes, or automatic measurements with dynamic topology requirements. 4.
Conclusion The increase in the cost of students and instruments and the decrease in the budget of laboratory technicians and equipment lead to the lack of time, cost and technicians.
One way to solve these problems is to successfully develop the system in our department, allowing the remote assembly of the electrical scheme and the basic measurement.
A client/server architecture-based system enables students to create an electrical scheme from the available electrical components, connect it to the server, assemble the scheme and make basic measurements.
During the measurement process, the user can control the power supply.
The biggest benefit is that each student can not only design their own circuit in computer simulation, but also test the circuit.
Students can use VML at home or anywhere else with Internet access.
You can also set very accurate top-level measurements in the measurement assembly.
Today, similar remote systems for measurement have been developed.
Most of them can only measure static schemes or switch between defined electrical schemes.
However, VML is not only able to dynamically build solutions that have previously been defined globally.
VML technology is a patent
Pending from 2009.
The next step is to expand the technology by implementing analog measuring devices or real-time measuring devices
Time measuring device e. g. oscilloscope. 5.
